About the Artist
Inspired by travel in her mobile studio, Morgan creates to capture the ephemerality of the natural world.
Her desire to use art as an escape is complicated by an understanding of the fleeting health of natural spaces and accompanied with a sense of social duty.
Driven by the urge to collect what is beautiful, her preservations call into question ideas of impermanence, conservation, ownership, containment, and caretaking.
